WELCOME TO OUR COMPLEMENTARY CARE PAGE
This Is Just To Give You ‘An Idea’ As To What We Can Offer. Feel Contact Us If You Wish To Discuss Anything We Mention Below or If You Have Any Other General Queries
Sheena, of Armargos, has completed a variety of complementary care courses over the past number of years, to date she has mainly used these for the benefit of the rescues’ animals but now in order to support the day to day costs of feed, vets, farriers, etc for them she is offering sessions for your dog, cat, horse, etc. Some of the areas in which she has trained in are Reiki Ushi Ryoho, Natural Animal Care & Holistic Animal Care.
NB - Complementary Methods do not and should never be used instead of conventional veterinary care - by its very definition ‘complementary’ means balancing and harmonising
Current Complementary Care Sessions Available
Holding certificates in both Levels One & Two for Reiki Ushi Ryoho, Sheena, can offer this to your pet/equine in either direct ‘hands on healing’ or by ‘distance healing’ format. Having studied/qualified in other forms of complementary care she will also utilise aspects of these modalities during and/or after the session when she feels they may be of benefit to your pet/equine.
In general a first session will last approximately one hour (longer in certain situations or on larger animals) in order for Sheena to talk to you about any concerns you may have or in relation to an existing health condition for which the animal is under conventional treatment and also to allow time for the animal to relax and for her to observe them prior to ’working’ with them.

‘Pricing Guidelines’
(These are the maximum prices charged, please do not be put off by them if you feel your animal may benefit from a session as arrangements can always be entered into in total confidence)
For small dogs, cats, etc the first consultation is €30.00 (€25.00 per session thereafter)
For large/medium dogs the cost of the first consultation is €35.00 (€30.00 per session thereafter)
For equines under 14h the cost of the first consultation is €45.00 (€35.00 per session thereafter)
For equines 14h & over the cost of the first consultation is €50.00 (€40.00 per session thereafter)
Discounts will apply to those seeking sessions for more than one animal or for a series of sessions.
Travel charges may apply if you wish for your pet/equine to be seen at your own home outside a 15ml radius of Armargos (Tubber, Co Clare), though if you have a number of friends/relations who would be interested in a session for their animals on the same day (at or within 10mls of your home) this charge may be waived and a discount may also be applied depending on numbers.
If you are based further away or just feel your pet/equine may benefit more from a distance session due to a nervous disposition, etc then a photograph and some basic history on the animal beforehand will be required as well as a time that you will be present should you wish to be with them so they are not alone during the session.
Distance healing is €15.00 per session for equines, dogs, cats, etc
Please Note:- You will be required to complete a ‘permission & health history form’ prior to the commencement of either hands on or distance sessions

RECENT & CONTINUING EDUCATION
Sheena has completed Levels One & Two in Canine Touch and she is currently completing a number of case studies so she can take her final assessment to become a Canine Touch Practitioner which will hopefully have happened by Autumn 2010.
In order to be in a position to utilise this modality with equines she has also recently completed Level One in Equine Touch and she hopes that by 2011/2012 she will have undergone further levels so she will be able to include this as an option for clients with equines.
